What is an ABS Sensor?

The ABS sensor is located near the wheel and it transmits information about wheel speed, brake pressure, and other data to the car’s computer (ECM). The computer then uses this information to control the braking system

ABS sensors play a very important role in your vehicle’s braking system for making sure that the wheels on your vehicle have matching speeds at all times. If they do not match, ABS will apply brakes to one of them so that it slows down faster than the other one.
